This chapter will present the guiding idea behind LCA as Code: we assume the reader is already familiar with the topic of Life Cycle Analysis. After reading this chapter, you should understand what is the purpose of LCA as Code, what the workflow of our tools looks like, and what you will gain from using it compared to a more traditional tool or spreadsheet.
